Your Doggy Adventurer Team

Adventurer Jamie

Your personal doggy adventurer

Hello my name is Jaimie Strong I am 27 years of age and married with one fur child a pug cross cavalier Denver who is my favourite thing on the planet.

What made me get into a career with animals is the pure joy and love I had with my first dog a Labrador Wesley who had a huge impact of my life in every way imaginable, and that encouraged me to pursue my journey into a career with animals which began as a volunteer at the rspca in the kennels department once I finished my certificate II in animal studies, which led me to Get Your Dog Walking.

In my spare time I love taking my own pup on special adventures with my husband trying to make him as happy as possible.

Adventurer Rachel

Your backup Adventurer.

Rachel has been working at Get Your Dog Walking since September and works in the Darebin and Moreland areas. Rachel has a degree in Health Sciences, previously working in Health Promotion. Rachel has a special love for Cocker Spaniels and Miniature Schnauzers, but really loves all dogs! In her spare time Rachel likes playing basketball and going on walks to find more dogs to pat.

Some of our favourite places.

Fenced Off-Lead

Yarra Bend Park

Yarra Bend Park contains a large area which dogs are allowed off leash. The area is fenced only on one side and at one ends adjoins a bbq area. The area is large with dirt paths for dog walking (stay clear of the paved path for cyclists) and plenty of tree cover. Water is provided, however can run out so bring your own.

Hays Paddock

Hays Paddock is a shared off-lead oval, This is a great place for the dogs to run, play and chase, its fair distance from any main roads.

Ferrie Oval

Ferrie Oval is a group of off-lead shared ovals that your dog can really stretch there legs at. Its away from the main road and alot of trees around the edges to keep the puppies cool.
